Films by Mani Jegan is a small studio building wedding films the way documentaries are made; patient, observational, and built to be watched again in twenty years.

How It Started

The studio began in 2020, in the back row of a cousin's wedding, with a borrowed camera and no shot list. While the hired team worked the front of the room, Mani filmed the edges the grandmother adjusting the bride's duppatta, the best man rehearsing his speech in the bathroom, the flower girl falling asleep on her father's shoulder.
